I went back to my summer internship, then later moved back home, and then moved here. After the trip this summer with the bad hotel, my boyfriend went back to his apartment and then moved in here in August. But I know my boyfriend is allergic to them because of what happened this summer, so does that make sense?Ģ) We're in a new apartment that we moved into in August. This time around, my boyfriend doesn't have a single bite!ġ) Everywhere I've read online says that when your partner isn't getting bitten, it's really that they are getting bitten but just aren't allergic. ![]() At the time, my boyfriend got bitten and was covered in bites, whereas I only had one set of bites. For example, they may experience burning, itching, swelling or red welts on their skin. Some people react to bed bug bites in the same way as an allergic reaction. I think they look a lot like bed bug bites, and over the summer my boyfriend and I unfortunately stayed in a hotel room that had bed bugs. Bed bugs are not known to spread diseases, but extreme itching of bites could lead to infections if the skin is broken. The last four / five days, I've been gradually getting more and more bites (that are unbelievably itchy and burn if I scratch) on my legs.
